Elevator pitch
Jan. 27th, 2026 11:27 pmThis lady is a work in progress. Eventually I might get around to doing a proper write up for what she is all about, but for now here are some basics.
Age: 34
Birthday: Semptember 4th
Height: 172 cm
Tattoos: A dark blue bush viper with its head on the back of her left hand, and the body winding it's way around her arm to about elbow-height. Also due to a drunken mistake when she was younger, there is a cheerful t-rex with chicken feathers on the side of her right ass-cheek. It seemed funny at the time.
Nationality: French/English, home base currently is London but she travels a lot.
Languages: French, English, some Latin
Nicknames: If you must. Vi and Viv are acceptable, only her grandmother is allowed to call her Vivi. She herself doesn't tend to come up with nicknames or use terms of endearment. It's not because of a lack of affection, she's just too used to being a bit formal most of the time, and also a little emotionally constipated.
Occupation: Freelancing exorcist, demonologist and necromancer. Basically if it involves demons or the (un)dead it's in her wheelhouse. She does not accept payment to attempt to contact deceased people because she is not about exploiting people's grief. Her work with spirits tends to be making sure they get safely beyond the point where they can be contacted, because if they're around and talking something is usually not quite as it should be.
She very much dislikes and distrusts organised religion, in spite of what she does for a living. Attempts were made to raise her Catholic and she does tend to use a sort of Christian lens to view/commune with the divine. It's how she was trained so at this point it's what comes easiest and most naturally to her. She doesn't think there is only one true faith but she does believe in a higher power because it's sort of a prerequisite for her to be able to do what she does. She's not necessarily happy about it. She tends to do a lot of her spellcraft in French even though she speaks English most of the time otherwise.
Political leaning: Far left.
Sexual orientation: Pansexual.
Civil status: Single, and not really looking for anything. She very much likes casual sex as a way to blow off some steam, but when it comes to romantic attachment she is way more hesitant.
Interests: She is very fond of reptiles of all kinds, used to want to become a paleontologist. Likes to go rock climbing. Watches a lot of nature documentaries.
Random facts/notes to self: She is quite pale and bruises easily. Also has a tendency to blush, which she hates. Has a fair amount of scars from various jobs.
Her father (Thierry) is a very good cook.
Mother (Agnes) is a teacher. Has at least one sister.
Paternal grandmother is referred to as Mamie quite often by Viv, but her actual name is Valérie, and she played a huge part in raising her.
